Riot against Police Brutality and Discriminating Behaviours in France
Between the end of June and the beginning of July 2023, France experienced a long week of riots against the police and the anti-terrorism law of 2017. The protests originated after a police officer killed a 17 year-old man at a checkpoint in Nanterre, suburb of Paris.
